Pissara  Umavijani, the founder and lead perfumer of Parfums Dusita, grew up in Bangkok. A young artist with a passion for fragrances, she began creating her own perfumes. Blending rare, precious scents Pissara dreamt of opening her own ‘maison de parfum’ in France, the home of classic fragrances. In 2011 Pissara moved to Paris bringing her creations and her dream. She was encouraged to present a selection of her perfumes to a well respected French perfume expert who was both surprised and duly impressed. He encouraged her to find high quality production help and bring her fragrances to market. Thus was born Dusita; a new brand of French haute perfume. Named for the Siamese concept of paradise where the spirit enjoys delight & contentment, each perfume creation by Pissara Umavijani evoke a different state of happiness.
