CHRISTOPHER GORDON

Christopher Gordon is a Los Angeles-based perfumer with a background in the fine arts. He has worked with the Guggenheim Museum, Matthew Marks and Feature galleries in New York; and the Estate of Francis Bacon and Interim Art in London. He also spent several years as Editor-in-chief of the Hermitage Museum magazine in St. Petersburg, Russia, before turning to perfumery.

In addition to composing for his own fragrance line, Maison Anonyme, Chris is a founding partner of The Perfumer’s Studio — a creative resource for the independent perfumer in Los Angeles that offers training, fragrance development and raw materials.

In May 2017, Chris was featured in Perfumer and Flavorist magazine as an important new voice in North American perfumery.

2019 marks the second year of Chris Gordon's participation as a judge in The Art and Olfaction Awards. He will serve as a judge in the artisan preliminaries category.
