Germany-based Ulrike Knöll  is the "text guru" for Germany's Aus Liebe Zum Duft / First in Fragrance. There, she has her hands in almost every pie relating to the written word. Her primary responsibility is their “Fragrance Diary” blog, but many texts in their shop also hail from her prolific pen.

Since late 2008 Ulrike has been active in the house of Wuchsa and actively helped with the relaunch of their website, with the planning and implementation as well as the categorization of fragrances - a specialty of hers.

Ulrike lives in Stuttgart, where she also completed her degree in philosophy, which she hopes to crown with a doctoral thesis. In her spare time, when she’s not up to her ears in books, Ulrike likes to meet up with friends, is an enthusiastic cinéaste, and has a penchant for furniture, design and fashion. To compensate, she likes to go horse riding.

2018 marks the first year of Ulrike Knöll's participation as a judge in The Art and Olfaction Awards. She will serve as a shortlisting judge, in the independent category.
